A former Broadway stage manager, advertising executive and event planner, Ryan followed his true passion of food and hospitality and founded Dish Food & Events in 2007.
New York City at popular venues, private homes and corporate offices. Partnering with clients and vendors, Bonnie creates custom menus, creative food displays, theme elements, and venue layouts resulting in memorable celebrations for guests and clients.
With the hopes of creating a company that focused on good simple food at affordable prices, Dish has grown to become a full service event catering firm--serving private and corporate clients all over New York City. Ryan's passion and expertise on food and entertaining have been featured on BizBash.com, Time Out New York and in New York Magazine. Ryan would like to thank his mom (for letting him make a mess in the kitchen when he was a kid), Martha Stewart, Julia Child, Ina Garten and Danny Meyer for their influence and inspiration.
Bonnie role at Dish includes coordinates and directs events and celebrations of all kinds throughoutA former Early Childhood & Elementary Educator, Bonnie joined Dish Food & Events in 2009, transitioning her attention to detail and creativity to the event planning world.
Prior to joining Dish, Bart spent over 15 years in management roles in human resources and employee benefits at large NYC law firms. Seeking a new professional direction, he joined Dish in 2010 as a prep and event Chef. Growing up in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn with its proximity to cuisines from around the word fostered Bart’s love of food. While he still occasionally cooks, Bart’s role has evolved in his time at Dish. Utilizing the skills developed earlier in his career, he is responsible for overseeing the administrative and operational functions of the organization. Bart can also often be found on-site as an Event Chef. Bart lives in Gramercy with his plant, Fifi.
